We have been delighted with the service offered by Pauline French and her team at Easilett. We set Pauline quite a challenge in letting our property as we needed this to be done in a very short time frame. Pauline was not daunted by this challenge and in fact found a tenant much quicker than we anticipated – within about a week! Not only this, but she also ensured this was the right tenant for us, as in order for a letting to be successful there needs to be the correct match between tenant, landlord and property.

Pauline guided us smoothly through the whole process, ensuring that every detail was given attention. Small and personal can be miles better value...

"I have a portfolio of rental properties in Lincoln, which I don't have time to manage myself and had previously engaged a well-known high street agent to manage for me.
As I was paying for their fully managed service I presumed the agent was checking my properties regularly and that I'd be informed if maintenance or repairs were ever needed, but this was not the case and my properties soon deteriorated, as did the calibre of tenants.

A pattern of troublesome tenants eventually emerged, with unpaid rents and numerous time absorbing issues. This is when I contacted Pauline French, who visited the properties, gave me her honest opinion about their condition and helped me realise that I was unlikely to secure the standard of tenants I wanted unless the properties were brought up to scratch.

I gave Pauline French a budget to personally manage the projects and the next I knew the properties had been transformed and suitable tenants quickly installed. The higher calibre tenants eliminated the non-payment issues (so far anyway) and things have settled down nicely. Pauline's advice was absolutely invaluable and eye-opening to me. "Our property had been managed for 2 years by another agent. I had to chase the rent, which most times took 1 month to reach our account, liaise with tenant for repairs etc. meanwhile the agent just sat back and claimed management fee. "Having previously encountered countless problems and long void periods with my buy-to-let property, and hearing similar stories from other landlords, I began to think it was normal to receive a poor service from Letting Agents. 

I had often chased the agent for my rent, I twice had tenants leave without notice or pay all their rent, and on both occasions they left the house in a terrible state and in need of repairs and thorough cleaning, decorating throughout and all new flooring. It was all very costly.
